Joan Tycko and Marie Dauenheimer invite you to join them on a custom-designed, twelve-night immersive journey in Morocco this April.

We’ll drive along African coastlines, through vast desert landscapes and refreshing oases, and over the majestic terrains of the Middle Atlas and High Atlas Mountains. We’ll take time to stop along the way at remote kasbahs, hidden gardens, and labyrinthine medinas.

Morocco has always cast a fascination over Western visitors. Its special appeal is perhaps in its unique combination of Islamic tradition, Moorish and Berber styles, spectacular decorative motifs, and gorgeous natural wonders. Generations of Western creatives, from Henri Matisse to Tennessee Williams, to Yves Saint-Laurent, found inspiration and relaxation in Morocco, and we are happy to have created this custom tour in hopes of allowing you to find the same!

Lectures and demonstrations in a variety of media will be offered during our painting and sketching sessions. While this trip allows time for artistic creativity, guided activities will also be arranged for the “non-artists” in our group.
